Zhao Lidong is the chairman of Chinese semiconductor maker Shanghai Enflame Technology, which went public in the city in September 2026, raising $912 million.
He cofounded Enflame in 2018 after working in the semiconductor industry for over three decades, including in senior roles at American chip giant Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Chinese information technology firm Tsinghua Unigroup.
Enflame's largest shareholder is Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings, which accounted for over 80% of the company's sales in 2025.
The company's CEO, Zhang Yalin, is also a billionaire.
