Zhang Yalin is the CEO of Chinese semiconductor maker Shanghai Enflame Technology, which went public in the city in September 2026, raising $912 million.
He cofounded Enflame in 2018 together with Chairman Zhao Lidong, who is also a billionaire.
The mogul previously spent a decade working for American chip giant Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), including overseeing the development of customized chips for Microsoft's Xbox One gaming device.
Enflame's largest shareholder is Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings, which accounted for over 80% of the company's sales in 2025.
