Since 2011 he's served first as the developer's cochairman and now as the chairman.
The three Kwok brothers inherited the publicly traded company after the death of their father in 1990.
The brothers fought for a decade over the family's assets until Walter (d. 2018), the eldest brother, decided to drop his lawsuit.
Raymond's son Edward has been an alternate director and his other son, Christopher, has been an executive director. Both are also billionaires.
Both he and his brother Thomas are devout Christians. They built an evangelical theme park, Noah's Ark, on Ma Wan Island in Hong Kong.
