Patrik Tkac is a cofounder and key architect of the J&T investment group, one of the leading financial investors in Central Europe, and holds a substantial amount of wealth through J&T Private Equity Group.
Together with Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky, he owns Vesa Equity Investments and, through their joint ventures, holds major stakes in some of Europe's best-known retail and logistics businesses.
These include Metro, the German wholesale giant; Fnac Darty, the French electronics and cultural-goods retailer; PostNL, the Dutch postal and parcel-delivery company; and Quadient, a global operator of parcel lockers and mail-management solutions.
