Founded by the mogul in 2013, the company develops semiconductor components including flow controllers, which measure and dispense various gases and liquids used to make high-end chips.
It went public in Shanghai in August 2026, raising $224 million. Its customers include BYD, Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) and Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn).
Liu taught mechanical science and engineering at his alma mater Jilin University for about two decades before leaving in 2019 to fully focus on Gao Kai.
