Dogus has invested $1.7 billion in Istanbul's Galataport. The project includes a cruise terminal, hotel, retail and restaurants.

Ferit Sahenk came in first in the prestige sailing competition Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez in 2016 and placed second in 2017 in the Wally classification.
His sister Filiz Sahenk and mother Deniz Sahenk are also billionaires.
